The London Boroughs Electric Vehicle Group (LoEV) brings together professionals from local authorities across London who are responsible for managing, delivering, and advising on electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Our mission is to foster collaboration, share best practice, and provide expert guidance to ensure London’s EV charging network is robust, innovative, and accessible.

LoEV acts as a central hub for technical advice, policy development, and knowledge exchange, supporting boroughs in delivering high-quality EV charging services. We work closely with organisations such as the London Technical Advisors Group (LoTAG), London Councils the Energy Saving Trust, and the Department for Transport to promote best practice and drive continuous improvement.

Through regular meetings, benchmarking activities, and open dialogue, LoEV helps local authorities optimise funding, address contractual and operational challenges, and stay at the forefront of EV technology. Our group is committed to raising awareness of EV charging and supporting London’s transition to sustainable transport.
